so long summer! until we meet again next year. i can't believe how fast time flies and i'm already getting ready for fall? but fall is one of my favorite seasons so i don't mind :)
Beauty Tips for Fall.
1. Moisturizer!
I cannot express how important it is to moisturize your face, dry skin is a big no no! Especially now that the weather is changing, your skin is very sensitive. Moisturizing both day and night will definitely help your skin for the better. If you haven't started moisturizing by now, you better get started!
I prefer using certain brands over others because it works with my skin but not everyone is the same. Because I am still young, I use moisturizers that are targeted for young adults like Clinique or Shieseido's White Lucent line.
For newbies, I recommend Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer. It is a must have for girls! Especially if you usually have dry skin, this product will definitely help your skin become more moisturized. It keeps the skin very hydrated and soft. Although it is great for dry skin, I do not recommend it for oily prone skin because it will make the skin more oiler because it is targeted to hydrate dry skin folks. It retails for $24.50 online which is a reasonable price when it comes to moisturizers. You can find this at your local Macy's or Clinique counter at your mall.
2. Dark Lip Colours
For fall, its all about going jewel tones or going darker in colours. I love trying out a deep red lipstick colour for Fall because it catches the eye and is very dramatic. You can always pair these lip colours with a simple cat eye and look chic. What I love about this look is that it can go with any skin tone. I recommend Bobbi Brown's Black Raspberry ($22) or Mac's Cyber ($14.50) for those who want to create this chic, vampy look.
3. Oil that Hair!
Majority of girls dye their hair constantly and trying out different colours. It's a fun process because you get a different look each time but remember, it can be damaging to your hair if you do not take care of it well. As much as it is fun creating new looks by dying or highlighting the hair, it is just as important to take care of it after.
I recommend using Morrocan oil to help nurture your ends. You can buy it as a spray or use your hands to rub the oil. You can put some oil at night or spray the ends of your hair after a shower. I recommend using the Morrocan Oil Treatment ($33) although you can always find an alternative oil treatment more suitable for your hair. It leaves your hair softer and healthier!
